Second Kings

Post by Biblegate » Sun Nov 11, 2012 11:45 am

During the 2011 session of The New Great Commission School, Bible-teacher Steve Gregg gave a series of lectures on the Book of Second Kings. Those lectures were captured on HD video and are now available on YouTube, except for the lecture covering chapters 19 & 20. We are attempting to work around a technical problem with that recording and hope to have some sort of fix in the future.

You can access that 2nd Kings playlist via this link

Watch, enjoy, be blessed.

Below is a photo of the Jehoash Tablet, believed to be the only existing remnant of Solomon's temple. It contains 15 lines from 2 Kings 12.

Once thought to be a forgery, it has now proved not to be. It's story can be read from Haaretz, a Jewish newspaper. I will provide the link to the story, although I am not sure it can be viewed unless you have signed in. Signing up is free and permits you to read a particular number of articles per month free.

Here is a link to the article:

Man judges a person by his past deeds, and administers penalties for his wrongdoing. God judges a person by his present character, and disciplines him that he may become righteous.
