What are your guy's opinions on insurance prices these days? Why do you guys think the insurance prices are sky rocketed for even
younger people that drive newer cars?

Howdy, Mac!
Because:
1. Vehicles are becoming fancier and therefore more expensive to buy and more expensive to repair
2. It's a fact that (for a number of reasons) young people have more accidents than older people do. So the younger you are, the more likely you are to have an accident. The insurance companies do the math, and they're right. Why should I (an older, safer person) have to pay higher premiums so that less safe young people can pay lower premiums. Unfortunately for safe, young drivers, they have to pay high premiums like their unsafe peers. You'll have to put up with this, Mac, until you get older and safer. Your question is one that all of us older guys asked when we were younger and more dangerous. By the way, old unsafe drivers pay through the roof, too.
3. Inflation. As the dollar loses value, it takes more of them to pay for goods and services (fenders and body shops). I remember when gasoline cost under 30 cents per gallon. Today it costs ten times that much (in just my lifetime!). But it's not so much that the cost of gas went up; it's more the case that the value of the dollar went down. When we see the price of something increase, we typically say, "Rats! The price went up again." Instead, we ought to say, "Good night, the value of the dollar went down again!" Then we ask the question, "Who's in charge of monetary policies and the money supply in this country, anyway?" Answer: The Federal government, which, by policy, causes inflation. Inflation is a form of "False weights and measures," which God hates.
4. Sin. The Bible tells us that big, expensive, oppressive government is the result of the iniquity of the land. (Proverbs 28:2) As people turn their
backs on honoring God and obeying His Word, there is growing disruption of peace and sanity in the society. That's why when I drive by a gas station and see that the price has risen again, I get angry and say,"This is crazy!"
Mac, my advice concerning auto insurance costs is this: Buy a cheap car, drive it safely, smile, be patient, and thank God.

I wonder if this thread should be moved from Announcements to some more appropriate section?

Good point(s), TK. And there's plenty of blame to go around -- for some insurance providers, for some insurance consumers, and for some insurance regulators.

Steve G,
People are looking to men of GOD like yourself for answers to life's
situations in a biblical perspective... So how about a title such as
personal questions
People are in various stages of their growth in the christian life from varied backgrounds.
thanks,

i tend to agree with MLH, but also agree that this discussion does not belong here. i think the personal questions category would be more appropriate.
i think the key, though, is that we should in fact interject biblical principals into questions of this nature because this is a bible/theology discussion forum.
