Apostles and Emoticons

The Theos IRC chat showed an emoticon in the text of a verse.

Did the Apostles really use emoticons?

My guess is...somebody made a typo(?) and an emoticon showed up.

I think you're on to something, Mike. If we could restore those original emoticons, it just might clear up some of those trickier passages....

I think you're on to something, Mike. If we could restore those original emoticons, it just might clear up some of those trickier passages....
