Hi Steve,
Which bible commentary would you recommend besides from your verse by verse?

I can't recommend any commentaries without some reservations, but I do find the Tyndale Commentary Series to have a lot of helpful insights. Aso, anything by F.F. Bruce will be better than the average, in my judgment.
