My Aunt is sick ( serious)and I will visit her at the hospital. How should I minister to her?

She is a catholic but she believes that Jesus is our Lord and saviour.

Paul,

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt.

May I humbly recommend that you don't try to "minister" to her? Just love her and be yourself and let God do the ministering.

Who knows? She may find that it's your love for her that ministers to her heart. If God places a word on your heart to speak to her, I believe you'll know it, and so will she.

Anyway, you and your aunt are in my prayers brother.

Hi Padion,

I will tell her that there are different reasons as to why people get sick and these sre the ff:

Genesis 2:16-17
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

Because of sin our physical body lost its capability to live forever. The structure of our physical being has changed due to sin.This means that because of sin people gets old and the body becomes sick.
Job 1:12
12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your 2power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”

God test people through Satan. Sickness can be a form of test.
Romans 1:24
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their 9women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the 1men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
that those who practice such things are deserving of death.

These people have chosen to follow their own ways and therefore are none believers. None believers can get sickness directly from the devil because they don't have the protection of God. Satan does not have to ask permission from God because God has given them up to the desire of their flesh therefore satan have full access on them.

Conclusion:
- People gets sick because the structure of our physical being has changed due to sin.
-The only time that a sickness is directly caused by the devil
is when the person is unbeliever.
-For believers Satan has to ask for God's permission first before he can inflict people with sickness.

Her is name is Alicia Agpoon

I believe that people in this forum are godly and your prayers will arrive to God in a priority courier ( figure of speech).

I prayed for your aunt (and you ministering to her), the first day you posted, and I am sure others here would have also, even without saying so, and will continue.
