Searching for God

Post by _Murf » Thu Apr 24, 2008 7:08 pm

I have a friend at work, who is struggling to find God. He wasn't raised in a Christian home and is having problems in his marriage and raising his children. He knows there is a God but is not sure who the "right" God is. He thinks he should read the bible more to find out what it says.

Any suggestions where he should start? I'm think the Gospels & Acts

Also any suggestions on which tape series to have him try? I'm thinking the Authority of Scipture series.

Maybe Luke, followed by Acts since they make up a volume.

And get him a worship CD. I'd recommend Hillsong United's "United We Stand." I find a lot of people start to turn the corner when they listen to worship music.
