Hello,
I was hoping that one of you might be able to give some insight what the appropriate way is to dispose of used/tatered/written and marked Bibles.
I have donated those that might benefit others to different organizations but what about the one or two that have been used beyond that point?

I guess I don't have a superstitious view of it or see it as anything more than a book at that point, though I've never actually thrown one out or burned it or whatever, and can see being a bit squeamish doing it due to my upbringing. I've deleted them on my computer, though, and printed out many passages and chapters and even books that I've cast about and thrown in the trash after writing all over them, etc. I hold the words "sacred" but not the print and pages so much.
