seeker friendly

Post by _Anonymous » Wed Oct 05, 2005 8:48 pm

It seems lately wherever I turn I hear, "seeker friendly"
I am opposed big time because I came out of the world in a big way
many years ago. I am against this new trend of trying anything to lure unbelievers into the building. (church) I thought the service was to encourage the believer so they could go outside the walls.
Anyways, the church I attend IF it starts to bend that direction I am out,
I cant even find a home fellowship...

seeker friendly/ skits/coffee during worship/all kinds of gimmicks

any comments?

Hi Friend,

You may find some of your concerns addressed in some of the posts in the "Church Life" forum and in the "Teacher, Authors and Movements" forum, under "Purpose-Driven Life." I hope things go well for you and the church.
