The hard part is not knowing where you are in your walk, but maybe I’d suggest “Experiencing God” by Henry T. Blackaby and Claude V. King. Not the workbook, but the book itself. I think this book lays a good Biblical foundation of how we are to walk in faith daily. Basic stuff, but it is always surprising to me how many Christians don't know these simple basic truths.

Re: Books
In all seriousness, I'd recommend "The Creationists" by Ronald Numbers and "Revelation: Four Views" by someone else.schoel wrote:If you could recommend one book besides the Bible, what would it be and why?

The Screwtape letters by C.S. Lewis. This is the book that really grabbed me and smacked me around when I was not walking w/ God. I would recommend it to unbelievers, not to get thier focus on demons of course, but to give a wake up call to another realm they might not be aware of and the role that they might be unknowingly playing. At least, thats the effect it had on me.

Hey Mort,
Is "How to Read the Bible for All It's Worth" mostly about interpretation?
What are some of the main subjects/topics?
Interpretation has been a huge thing that I feel God has put on my heart over the past few years so I'm soaking up as much as possible. Also R.C. Sprouls book "Knowing Scripture" is a great one for interpretation!
