Brad,
Amazon.com has both "The Treasury of Scripture Knowledge" and "The NEW Treasury of Scripture Knowledge" pictured at their site. I have an old copy that looks much different from the ones pictured at amazon.com. I believe that the one that has R.A. Torrey's name associated with it is the same one that I have, only (in all likelihood) having the type reset for easier reading (the earlier editions have very tiny print). I guess I'll have to buy one of these new editions to know if it has been changed much.
The "New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge" (by Jerome Smith) seems to be the one I once purchased and got rid of because of its insertion of dispensational notes. Reading the description makes me think they may have added some additional scriptural study helps, but I can't say how valuable these may be.
The original edition has very few commentator notes—it is mostly a catalogue of cross-references for each verse in scripture. Where the occasional note is inserted, it is not entirely unbiased, but it is at least not biased toward dispensationalism.
Interestingly, the notes that appear in Daniel and Revelation (in the original edition) are from the "historicist" perspective (one of the few places you can still find this view in print), which was the predominant view of Protestants in the 19th century, the time when this volume was produced. I don't know if modern printings of the original edition have excised these notes, seeing them as archaic, or if they are still there. Even if I don't agree with them, I am opposed to removing them, since the original authors of the work wished to communicate these things.
Some people would rather buy from a Christian business than from amazon.com (because, I hear, the latter supports pro-choice causes). You can get the "Treasury" (but apparently not the "New Treasury") at Christian Book Distributors, at the following link:

The print may be small, but if you have good eyesight, it will repay many hours of perusal.
