Interesting reading, here and in the Open Theism thread.

I don't have much to add. I don't have a problem saying that our future is not a knowable thing or that God chooses not to know some things in the same way that he chooses not to do some things.

As for the extent of God's determining, Psalm 139 is interesting. There David wrote that, "All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." (NIV) Poetic license perhaps.

if I created a universe, and knew what would happen, and chose to allow it as such, would all that would happen be ordained since its very end and existence was approved by me before all creatures in it were created to make their free choice?
