Thank you Michelle. So good to hear from you. What threads do you frequent? What topics draw your attention these days?

Hi Karen and Selah, nice to see you both, too.

I haven't been very active on the forum lately, although I read here every day.

I had a friend challenge me to not only read through the bible with him this year, but to dialogue via a blog about what we read each day. I love it. It's one thing to read through the bible, I've done that a few times before, but to write about what you're reading makes me have slow down and ruminate. I end up meditating on the scripture all day, which is very growth inducing. Anyway, that takes up a lot of my online time these days.

Thanks for asking!

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

What you're doing with your friend sounds really great. The closest thing I've done like that was in 2005, to be in daily email contact with a Christian soldier in Iraq. For five months she and I wrote each other about life and death, discouragement verses courage, war and peace, love and hate, faithfulness, (and the lack thereof) and prophesy, all in relation to Biblical concepts especially how it related to her experiences and the experiences she witnessed. It still effects my life to remember our emails...

hey! see ya online sometime,

Karen, I'm watching the LDS threads. Hope to see you there soon...
