Hello to you all
I have just joined the forum and am looking forward to participating in the various discussions.
While waiting for my application to be processed I have been keeping up with the recent topics and have enjoyed both the insights and the interaction between the participants.
I was raised by Christian parents, early gave my heart to the Lord, and have walked with the Lord over the years.
My working career was in accounting, but I did pursue training for pastoral ministry at one time. This did not work out but I have kept an interest in the Bible and theology. This interest has been worked out in Sunday school classes and Bible studies. I recently read a book in which a pastor gave counsel to read the Bible as a child. I recalled that Jesus thanked God that he had hidden things from the wise and learned and revealed them to little children (Matt 11:25). I am well along the road from being a little child, but am intrigued to pursue the discovery of the simple truths in God's word.
I look forward to joining in the discussions.

Re: Hello to you all
Thanks for the welcome and the caution. I had noticed. But did you really mean ornery or ordinary?
