Flesh & Blood for Supper?

Post by Biblegate » Sun May 02, 2021 1:11 pm

Does God want Christians to eat human flesh and blood? Many churchgoers think He does, though Scripture forbids it. They believe that at Communion (Eucharist, Mass) the bread and wine transform into Jesus' literal flesh and blood when they swallow it. Is it a miracle? Is it magic? Or is so-called Transubstantiation just a repulsive man-made myth?

This 2-part lecture by Bible teacher Steve Gregg examines how this belief and practice began, how its advocates defend it, and what the Bible actually says about Communion.
