i am votin over 80 but i am sort of guessing. the last time i read (or listened) to daniel i got the impression that a lot of time had elapsed between nebuchadnezzars vision(wheni think daniel was fairly young) and the lions den episode.

good question- maybe he was in the bathroom when the statue came by- or out of town- or maybe (gasp) he bowed.
