Radio Broadcasts?
Re: Radio Broadcasts?
So really, this would be only one more designation that could be made in addition to the ones you already have, and would create no problems for you? If that's the case, what if we send our designated contributions to you, and maybe you can let us know how the fund is progressing every so often until the goal is reached? I can't imagine that it would take very long.
Re: Radio Broadcasts?
That would be fine. Thanks!
Re: Radio Broadcasts?
Then, Yea! We have a plan. Thanks, Steve!

Your bubbly style is endearing, Joan. Stop worrying forthwith!I thought maybe my bad joke disqualified me from helping out. Nobody laughed, the conversation stopped, and then the long, dread silence.

I try to listen every evening, but sometimes I have to catch up by listening all weekend!Joan wrote:Does anyone here know how many people typically listen to these radio broadcasts online each day? How about the lectures and verse-by-verse teaching?

I love this forum and if I had life my way, I'd be reading it everyday, and posting some too. There is so much to learn!Joan wrote: And how many visit the forum, on average? Just curious. I love getting acquainted with many of you as I come and go each day, and wonder how many others like me are dropping by now and again.
Joan
And I love getting to know everyone here too (and Steve, the picture you have posted today, November 17th, is the best!)

...and I often think of Christopher, the self-proclaimed athiest from Portland, Oregon. I do hope he calls again!Joan wrote:Speaking of missing people, I've been wanting to ask about the Buddist man - Methinks his name is Michael - It seemed like he was beginning to change a little, and then he stopped calling. At least, that's how it seems. Have you heard from him, Steve, or do you know how he's doing?

"Aye!" How's this collection going? I loved The Road to Find Out!Joan wrote:Can we start raising money for the needed equipment so you can get back to The Road to Find Out? If 150 people gave an extra $20, or if 300 of us gave an extra $10 (sounds like home school), we could raise it in a hurry. Assuming there are 300 of us who frequent the forum and support TNP. Are there? If you're here and like the idea of taking up a collection, say "Aye!"
(okay...I'm going to continue reading this thread so I can get caught up with the rest of you...

Me too, Joan... and I had to go back and re-read several times to "find" the joke!Suzana wrote:Oh, Joan, it's too bad that you felt that way! - I for one didn't think anything amiss about your joke at all, and would be surprised if anyone else here did either.
(Mind you, I do know what it feels like when you say something jokingly but others take it the wrong way – I’ve been known to suffer from foot-in-mouth on occasion!). So I commiserate.
Love you,

Hey, I'm glad there is a plan too. I remember reading a couple of months ago, the first couple of "pages" of this thread and wondering what would happen, how would the money be collected and when would the equipment be purchased.Joan wrote:Then, Yea! We have a plan. Thanks, Steve!
Now, it is great to see that there is a plan. Joan, thank you so much for going the second mile with phone calls and posts, etc. (and jokes

Joan, may the Lord richly bless your efforts for The Road to Find Out! Love, Selah*
