So really, this would be only one more designation that could be made in addition to the ones you already have, and would create no problems for you? If that's the case, what if we send our designated contributions to you, and maybe you can let us know how the fund is progressing every so often until the goal is reached? I can't imagine that it would take very long.

Does anyone here know how many people typically listen to these radio broadcasts online each day? How about the lectures and verse-by-verse teaching?

I try to listen every evening, but sometimes I have to catch up by listening all weekend!

And how many visit the forum, on average? Just curious. I love getting acquainted with many of you as I come and go each day, and wonder how many others like me are dropping by now and again.

Speaking of missing people, I've been wanting to ask about the Buddist man - Methinks his name is Michael - It seemed like he was beginning to change a little, and then he stopped calling. At least, that's how it seems. Have you heard from him, Steve, or do you know how he's doing?

...and I often think of Christopher, the self-proclaimed athiest from Portland, Oregon. I do hope he calls again!

Can we start raising money for the needed equipment so you can get back to The Road to Find Out? If 150 people gave an extra $20, or if 300 of us gave an extra $10 (sounds like home school), we could raise it in a hurry. Assuming there are 300 of us who frequent the forum and support TNP. Are there? If you're here and like the idea of taking up a collection, say "Aye!"

Oh, Joan, it's too bad that you felt that way! - I for one didn't think anything amiss about your joke at all, and would be surprised if anyone else here did either.
(Mind you, I do know what it feels like when you say something jokingly but others take it the wrong way – I’ve been known to suffer from foot-in-mouth on occasion! ). So I commiserate.

Hey, I'm glad there is a plan too. I remember reading a couple of months ago, the first couple of "pages" of this thread and wondering what would happen, how would the money be collected and when would the equipment be purchased.

Now, it is great to see that there is a plan. Joan, thank you so much for going the second mile with phone calls and posts, etc. (and jokes ) to get this plan in place.
