Anyone know anything about Dr. Gene Scott?

Post by _djeaton » Mon Aug 06, 2007 4:31 pm

Since he was a left-coast guy, I thought I'd ask about him here. I'd never heard of him before, but someone recommended his "great" teaching to me as it relates to Paul having it all right and James being totally clueless. Anyone know anything about his theology and beliefs?

I know he's the theological equivalent of Howard Stern. I'm curious about his doctrine.

I can't believe what I saw on that youtube link. Normally I'd say something like, "Are we taking this out of context?" However, there's no context that would put that into a better light. What a disgrace.

When I was trying to find out about his theology, it seems that (like me) none of the people that I could find that talked about him could get past his personality. In other words, he's presenting a message in such a way that no one hears what he is saying. Some of his fans talk about how great he is, how smart he is, how generous he is, but I can't find out anything at all abotu what he believed or taught and have zero interest in listening to that kind of presentation style to try to figure it out myself.
