Richard Pratt and the Framework Hypothesis

As our Bible Study is going through Genesis and my teacher is a Framework Hypothesis Old Earther, I'm going back and studying the Framework Hypothesis, which I haven't ever seriously considered but now strikes me as beautiful (what I know of it from our recent lectures) -- one of its chief proponents today seems to be a guy named Richard Pratt, who is VERY reformed.

Is anyone familiar with him? Has anyone studied the Framework Hypothesis and would your soteriology and views of the covenants taint or color your view of it?

Here's a video series (60 minutes) with notes and audio mp3 options also that I'm about to go through. I'd be curious of anyone's perspectives.

This looks very interesting Darin, I'm going to download and watch the videos.

I've never heard of the "Framework Hypothesis" before, but I get the impression it follows the view I've held for some time, which is that the earliest portions of Genesis were written not to serve as historical narrative but to provide lessons in mythic form to the Israelites as they transitioned from Egypt to Canaan.
