Surgery Tomorrow
I'm going under the knife tomorrow morning. Just having my gall bladder removed, but I've never been under full general anesthesia before (never know what might happen) or stayed overnight in the Hospital, so please pray for me and mostly my son (Monday night) who doesn't sleep well when I'm gone and is already worried about Daddy going to the Hospital.

Will pray for you, Darin.
a bit of a digression:
I have fond memories of a gallbladder operation. During my training, that was the op where I was the 'instrument nurse' all by myself for the first time. I was really pleased that I had been able to place everything into the surgeon's hand as needed, without having to be asked. I remember feeling so proud when he tapped me on the shoulder at the end and said "well done, nurse".
Imagine the feeling if we get to hear those words "well done good and faithful servant"!

Re: Surgery Tomorrow
Thanks all -- the doctor decided to let me go home, so at least I'll be home tonight. All went well, though they had to repair a hernia while they were in there, so I'm pretty sore, etc.
Thanks for the prayers.
