I like to think of it as Steve casting pearls "past" the swine.

Steve,
After listening to the third show, I think you've really started to hit your groove. It's refreshing (even for me) to hear thoughtful, considerate responses given to skeptics. I'm actually edified by the program even though it's not geared toward people like me. Thank you for not memorizing a bunch of stock answers and handing them out like pez.

Thanks for that comment. I'm glad to hear it. I was afraid that the third program may have duplicated too much of the same subject matter as the first program, but then I am my own worst critic, much of the time.
Re: SUNDAY NIGHTS—NEW RADIO PROGRAM on internet
There's going to be some overlap but that's implicit in the subject matter. The content is good but the manner of communication is what I find attractive. My only complaint is that the show needs to be longer, but that's a given. Thanks for that comment. I'm glad to hear it. I'm hoping that, eventually, Steve will get around to actually engaging Letter to a Christian Nation on the show. I'm reading it right now (picked it up at a used book sale), and I'm finding most of Sam Harris's arguments to be puerile and snarky. And ill-considered. I'm sure he considers himself a deep-thinker, but deep-thinkers don't drag in the "Well, the Bible condones slavery!" argument.
Re: SUNDAY NIGHTS—NEW RADIO PROGRAM on internet
Steve has mentioned he would engage Sam Harris' book?
Re: SUNDAY NIGHTS—NEW RADIO PROGRAM on internet
He has, and he began to engage it on one of the programs.Troy wrote:Steve has mentioned he would engage Sam Harris' book?
Incidentally, I finished the book and reviewed it on my blog. Unfortunately, I found that as an example of the way the New Atheists think, it's rather lacking in thought.
Re: SUNDAY NIGHTS—NEW RADIO PROGRAM on internet
Could someone tell me where to find it then?

Hi Troy,
If you haven’t found them yet – (though I can’t remember which particular show has the one you’re looking for):
http://rtfo.theeggbeater.net/
also available from this forum, but may not have all the episodes here yet:
board index >Steve Gregg Lectures>Radio Broadcast>The Road to Find Out
