Here are the questions asked on the 10-24-12 TNP morning show:
1. Moses was not allowed to enter the Promise Land because he struck the rock in anger when he gave the children of Israel water, but why did God honor the request anyway and do the miracle to produce water from a rock?
2. Why was David not allowed to build God a temple even though he had a real desire to? Even though David was a man of war, was it unfair of God to not allow David to build Him a temple when David had been fighting in wars for the Lord?
3. In John 10:34-35 when the Jews are about to stone Jesus He asks them which of His good works they were going to stone Him for and then He quotes Ps. 82:6: "Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—". But it doesn't seem exactly like that is what the passage in Psalm 82:6 was saying. Can you clarify that?
4. Comment from caller: When Moses struck the rock in the wilderness to produce water, he said "Must we do this for you?" implying himself and Aaron, and he left God out of the equation. That is perhaps another complicating factor as to why Moses was not allowed to enter the Promised Land, in addition to disobedience, striking the rock instead of speaking to the rock. In addition, God intended for Joshua, who symbolized Jesus, to lead the people of Israel over the Jordan River, which symbolized death, into the Promised Land, and not Moses.
5. I consider myself a born-again Christian Mormon, and occasionally I hear on talk radio that we're not considered Christians and it really cuts me to the core. I feel a great fellowship with all Christians who believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ and His divine mission here. And I struggle deeply when I figure out why is my faith in Christ and His divine Sonship questioned. Can you expound on that?

Questions Asked on the 1/2 Hour Narrow Path Radio Program
Re: Questions Asked on the 1/2 Hour Narrow Path Radio Program
Here are the questions from the 10-26-12 TNP morning show:
1.Did God warn Cain to bring a blood offering? Did he know what kind of offering God wanted? @4:43 - How would Cain have known what kind of known what kind of offering God wanted?
2. Was the curse on Cain in Gen. 4:11 which said that Cain was cursed from the ground because of his murder of Abel greater than the curse on Adam in Gen. 3:17 which said "cursed is the ground because of you"? In Gen. 8:21 when God told Noah that "I will never again curse the ground on account of man" it almost sounds like God removed the curse. Can you comment on that?
3. John MacArthur was teaching that the lake of fire is not a literal lake of fire and that there are various degrees of punishment for people who do evil. I don't see that in the Bible, do you? @14:48 - What about the parable of Lazarus and the rich man, when he was in Hades and asked for someone to cool the tip of his tongue because it was so hot down there?
4. What does the white horse in Revelation 6 represent? @21:27 - What do you think of Witness Lee's opinion that the rider on the white horse represents the Gospel?
5.Does Sarah represent grace and Hagar represent the Mosaic law?
6. I got a denture and it's not very well fitting, and after a second try it's still not working. I was going to write the dentist a letter, but would that be complaining or criticizing and would that go against Philippians 2:14 "Do all things without complaining and disputing"? Phil. 4:8 also says to think of all things lovely and not negative.

Re: Questions Asked on the 1/2 Hour Narrow Path Radio Program
Here are the questions from the 10-29-12 TNP morning show:
1. I have a friend who is not a believer that has had some liberal theological education and he's basically saying that even though "elohim" is in the plural, which we understand as believers to kind of view as being the Trinity, he's basically saying that according to Genesis, these people believed in many gods and it was a pagan perspective, and that it was man who tried to utilize that term to kind of beat people into submission and to make them believe that god/elohim is basically dealing with the God that we know of today as the God of Israel.
He sees the actual meaning of elohim as "gods", and that Israel did serve many gods, and those gods were as we call them Jehovah-Jireh, Jehovah-Nissi. Those terms he said referred to other gods, and not just the God manifested in those ways.
Do you have anything on your website that can kind of point me to how to better articulate when someone comes to me with something like this, because I want to dedicate myself to disproving notions like that?
2. I read that the Jews were persecuted and heavily taxed by the Europeans during the Middle Ages.
Why were the Jews placed in the ghettos during the Middle Ages in part of Italy?
And what about the massacres/pogroms of the Jews by the Russians in the 1800s?
Is it true that in 1492 the Jews were forced to leave Spain?
3. Do you think that God is still blessing the United States with the wickedness around us?
4. I'm confused and need to ask for clarification about Genesis 4 and Cain and Abel. I thought they were the first born of Adam and Eve. There was a caller who asked about the population of the Earth and I think you said that Adam and Eve had time to have other children before they had Cain and Abel because Adam was 125 or something like that years of age.
5. What can you tell us about Melchizedek? Is he a representation of righteousness? Can you explain?

Re: Questions Asked on the 1/2 Hour Narrow Path Radio Program
Here the questions from the 10-31-12 TNP morning show:
1. I know you support Paul's position on the roles of husband and wife. However, we no longer accept Paul's views on slavery so why should we continue to advocate views that are oppressive to women?
2. When Isaiah refers to the coming judgment in chapter 2, is he referring to the Babylonian conquest of Judah or is he referring to, or does it maybe have a dual application to, the final tribulational judgment? Could that be a type of a fulfillment to come? Could both the past fulfillment and a future fulfillment be true?
3. Is Mormonism considered a cult, and if so, why? If Mormonism is a cult, would a Mormon candidate be a good president for the United States? Would it bring damnation to a nation if they choose a person who is in a cult to be the leader of their nation?
4.As a nation, being that so many believe in evolution, and our professors are teaching these kind of things in our universities and we are believing it as a people and as a nation, would that consider us as being condemned by God, or our nation going down in a different direction as opposed to--?

Re: Questions Asked on the 1/2 Hour Narrow Path Radio Program
Here are the questions from the 11-1-12 TNP morning show:
1. Callers comment: I think they probably took baby animals into Noah's ark rather than fully grown adult animals.
What is a cubit? I thought it was 18 inches, but I read a book that says it was 20 inches.
How long were Noah and his family in the ark?
In Gen. 9 what did Ham do wrong?
2. Is there any place in the Bible that says you can't eat pork, especially in the New Testament, or any other particular foods?
3. Callers comment: Since one of the Ten Commandments is "Honor your mother and your father", when Jesus said to the man "Let the dead bury their own dead" that is a complete violation of the Ten Commandments, because the Hebrew scriptures say that the way you're supposed to honor your parents is to bury them.
4. Can you explain how baptism forgives sins in Acts 2:38, where the repentant believers are told to "be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins"?
5. What is your opinion about people speaking in tongues today? I heard about a pastor that said that is no longer happening today.
6. What were the deeds and doctrines of the Nicolaitans mentioned by Jesus in His messages to the churches of Ephesus and Pergamos in Revelation?

If anyone is interested, I have recently resumed posting the questions that get asked on The Narrow Path radio program, both the morning show and the afternoon show, though in a different format, at my blog, The Harvey Report. Feel free to subscribe if you would like to stay updated.
